KIWI MASKS FOR GLOWING SKIN

This exotic fruit is a real vitamin bomb that has a beneficial effect on our skin.

Kiwi is often referred to as the fruit of health. And if viewed from a cosmetic point of view, the potassium contained in it maintains proper hydration of the skin, calcium promotes its regeneration, and zinc slows down the aging process.

In addition, kiwi has an impressive amount of vitamins C, E, fatty acids, and antioxidants. Separately, it should be noted that kiwi seeds act as a natural exfoliator. It’s no surprise that this miracle fruit is a popular ingredient in many cosmetics, creams, lip balms, gels, and even depilatory patches. It is also great that kiwi masks are suitable for all skin types. So, in particular, it improves the condition of oily and acne skin, moisturises dry, softens tired and restores the elasticity of aging. Thanks to kiwi, you can have a flawless and radiant complexion.

And the easiest option is to simply use  already almost ripe fruit. Simply mash the peeled kiwi fruit with a fork and gently apply it all over your face in a circular motion. (If you already feel a slight itch at first, this is a sign that the mask is working.) After 15 minutes, rinse with warm water or wipe your skin with a non-alcoholic toner. At the end of the procedure, apply a moisturiser to your face. Regular use of such mask will improve the overall condition of the skin, make it soft and elastic.

But if you want to enhance its effect, combine it with other products. All Kiwi masks should be used 1-2 times per week depending on your skin condition. For dry skin only once per week.

Recipe 2.

½ kiwi

2 tbsp of  natural yoghurt

Peel the kiwi, remove the hard core, cut into small pieces and mash with the fork. Mix the mash with natural yogurt and keep it on your face for 20 minutes. Then rinse with warm water and apply a moisturiser similar to the previous ritual. Repeat the course of treatment once a week. The skin will become smoother and more elastic.

By the way, you can enhance the nutritional effect of the product by adding half a banana to the recipe and, if desired, doubling the portion of kiwi.

Recipe 3.

¼ tbsp of lemon juice

1 kiwi fruit

1 egg

Peel the kiwi, chop and mix with lemon juice and egg. When the ingredients are smooth, apply it all over your face. After 5-10 minutes, wash with warm water and lightly pat with your fingers, massage in the moisturiser.

Recipe 4.

FOR OILY SKIN ONLY

½ kiwi

1 tbsp natural yogurt

1 tbsp of  oatmeal flour

5 ml (1 tbsp) of skimmed milk

5 ml honey

1 drop of lavender essential oil

Blend all  ingredients in a blender. Apply on face and leave on for 10-15 minutes, then rinse off with warm water. Use your regular skincare.

Recipe 5.

REFRESHING SCRUB

Miniature kiwi seeds are great for exfoliating dead skin cells.

Kiwi seeds are a great exfoliator – they are great for smoothing skin without worrying about irritation. This fruit will not only make  the skin smoother, but also nourish it while adding radiance.

1 kiwi

1 tbsp of coarse salt

1 tbsp of olive oil (or oil that good for your skin type)

Combine and mix the ingredients into a mashed consistency and apply on the face and décolletage area. Rinse off the remains of the scrub with  warm water and apply your regular skincare.

Recipe 6.

FOOT SOAK

Kiwi juice

1/3 cup sea salt

A few drops of your favourite essential oil (can be tea tree, lavender, peppermint)

Chop a few ripe kiwis and rub them through a sieve so that only the juice remains. Mix with sea salt and your favourite oil. Pour the mixture into a bowl of warm water and soak your feet in the water for about 15 min.
