First of all, the benefits of cooling the skin affect the prolongation of its youth. It has long been known that the effect of cold slows down the aging of skin cells, and this has been repeatedly proven in various experiments. Regular use of ice on your skin also helps to prevent  aging.

And, of course, the benefits of cosmetic ice lie in a powerful refreshing and toning effect. With its help, if necessary, you can in a matter of minutes give your face a refreshed and glowy look, relieve fatigue and swelling, get rid of dark circles and puffiness around the eyes and more.

Also, an important role is played by the ingredients from which the ice is made and its action can be the most versatile.

So, ice cubes from infusion and decoction of chamomile and some other herbs, aloe juice and raw potatoes provide additional help in the fight against acne. Milk, flax seed infusion and freshly squeezed juices of individual fruits in frozen form will help smooth out wrinkles and prevent the formation of new ones.

Ice for the face made from tea will be the best assistant in toning and refreshing any type of epidermis, and frozen water with the addition of lemon juice or salt is a wonderful tool for eliminating oily sheen, revitalizing, mattifying and improving the appearance of oily skin.

Likewise, you can make ice to wipe dry facial skin using nourishing and moisturizing formulations for freezing.

STEP 1 . Never hold the ice cube in one area of the skin, even for a few seconds, it is necessary to move it all the time so as not to cause hypothermia of the tissues.

STEP 2 . It is recommended to keep the ice with a thick napkin, otherwise you can freeze your fingertips.

STEP 3.  Move the cube along the massage lines of the face, starting from the chin area and going up to the forehead.
Massage lines:

1. From the center of the chin to the tips of the earlobes.
2. From the corners of the mouth to the middle of the auricles.
3. From the edges of the wings of the nose to the temporal cavities.
4. From the middle of the forehead to the temples and in all directions to the scalp.

You can take two pieces of ice in each hand and move them equally in both directions at once.

There can be several approaches, i.e. an ice remedy is applied along all lines, after which the procedure is repeated 2-3 more times.

The skin of the neck and eye area is wiped separately.

Additionally, you do not need to wash your face with water or pat dry with a towel after this procedure. When the skin is dry, it is advisable to moisturize it with cream.

As for the shelf life of cosmetic ice, it is a maximum of 1 month. If the ice has been in the freezer for longer than this time, it is better to throw it away and prepare a new one.

And finally, a rather important point about precautions, in which cooling procedures for the skin of the face are strictly prohibited.

Firstly, this is a disease called rosacea, characterized by the expansion of blood vessels, which becomes clearly visible on the cheeks, wings of the nose, less often on the chin and on the forehead.

Secondly, it is any kind of skin disease, such as eczema or the presence of a strong inflammatory process of the epidermis, with the exception of common acne.

Thirdly, if your skin is not susceptible to any diseases, but after applying ice to the face, you clearly feel its reacting badly, it is better to stop ice sessions.
